EasyJet Plc (EZJ), Europe’s second-biggest discount carrier, forecast a narrower six-month loss after business bookings helped offset rising fuel costs.
The pretax loss in the six months through March 31 will be 100 million pounds ($159 million) to 120 million pounds compared with a loss of 153 million pounds in the same period last year, the Luton, England-based carrier said in a statement. The previous forecast was for a loss of 140 million pounds to 160 million pounds. (Source: Bloomberg)
