Edmund Truell, who founded the Duke Street private-equity firm, is seeking to list a company on the London Stock Exchange, the Sunday Times reported.
The company, which the report didn’t name, will bid for banks, insurers and asset managers, the newspaper said. Truell plans to raise as much as 600 million pounds ($952 million) to bid for assets worth 2 billion pounds, the report said.
UBS AG (UBSN) is working with Truell on the listing plan, the Sunday Times said.
