Spain’s Socialist Party leads the People’s Party in regional elections in Andalusia 40.5 percent to 39 percent, initial results show.
The Socialists would win 49 seats in the 109-seat legislature to 48 for the PP, the regional government said on its website based on 65 percent of the vote counted. The United Left, a possible coalition partner for the Socialists, won 12 seats, the results indicate.
