Spain’s Socialists Lead PP in Andalusia With 65% of Vote Counted

Spain’s Socialist Party leads the People’s Party in regional elections in Andalusia 40.5 percent to 39 percent, initial results show.

The Socialists would win 49 seats in the 109-seat legislature to 48 for the PP, the regional government said on its website based on 65 percent of the vote counted. The United Left, a possible coalition partner for the Socialists, won 12 seats, the results indicate.
