Bigger Euro Firewall Would Calm Markets, EFSF Chief Tells Focus

Expanding the euro-area’s rescue funds would calm markets, Klaus Regling, chief executive officer of the European Financial Stability Facility, told Focus magazine in an interview.

The majority of market participants don’t believe the crisis is over and expect further downgrades this year, the magazine cited Regling as saying in an e-mailed preview of its article.
