Spanish Interest Rates Raise Concern, Italy’s Monti Says

Spain is raising concerns among its European neighbors with increasing interest rates, Italy’s Prime Minister Mario Monti said.

“Spain has done a very incisive labor reform, but hasn’t paid enough attention on its public accounts,” Monti said at a conference in Cernobbio, Italy, today. “It doesn’t take much to recreate risks of contagion.”
