Horst Reichenbach, who heads the European Union task force on rebuilding Greece’s economy, said he is “more optimistic than ever,” Passauer Neue Presse reported, citing an interview.
There have been improvements controlling pension fraud and expenditures, Reichenbach told the newspaper. He added that he hopes to collect 2 billion euros ($2,65 billion) in tax receivables this year, Passauer Neue Presse reported.
