Moody’s Investors Service Inc. returned its rating on Anadarko Petroleum Corp. (APC)’s senior unsecured debt to investment-grade.

Moody’s changed its rating in a statement issued today.

The agency’s rating of the company’s debt was lowered following the spill at the Macondo well in the Gulf of Mexico two years ago. Anadarko was BP PLC (BP/)’s partner in the well.
