Greg Smith, the former Goldman Sachs Group Inc. (GS) employee who wrote on opinion piece critical of Goldman in The New York Times, is “shopping” around a book proposal, the Times reported.
The book is being pitched as a “coming-of-age” tale, the Times said. Smith, who ran Goldman Sach’s U.S. equities derivaties business in Europe, met with publishers this week. In his op-ed piece, Smith also resigned from the firm.
Neither Smith nor his agent, Paul Fedorko, responded to requests for comment from the Times.
