March 17, 2012

Police in London are investigating a report of a break-in at the Houses of Parliament yesterday.

“Police were called following reports of a forced entry at the Palace of Westminster at 6:55 p.m. last night,” an official at the Metropolitan Police said. “It’s being investigated.”

The reported break-in was at offices used by the opposition Labour Party leader Ed Miliband, according to the Press Association news agency. A Labour spokeswoman declined to comment while the police investigation was continuing.
