Abdallah al-Senoussi, the head of intelligence services in the government of former Libyan leader Muammar Qaddafi, was arrested today in Mauritania, Mauritania’s state-owned AMI press agency reported.
Al-Senoussi, who is wanted by the International Criminal Court, was arrested by Mauritanian police at the airport of the nation’s capital, Nouakchott, after arriving from Casablanca in Morocco, AMI said. He was traveling with a falsified Malian passport, it said.
