Turkey’s benchmark ISE National 100 Index (XU100) rose 0.7 percent to 61,279.31 at the close in Istanbul, rising for a third day.

Aksigorta AS (AKGRT) , an insurer part-owned by Ageas of Belgium, added 5.1 percent to 1.85 liras, its biggest gain since Dec. 7, after reporting net income last year surged to 32 million liras ($18 million) from 1.48 million liras a year earlier, beating estimates.
Bim Birlesik Magazalar AS (BIMAS) , Turkey’s biggest discount grocer, fell 0.4 percent to 64 liras, after reaching an all-time high yesterday. Deutsche Bank AG reduced the company to hold from buy, with a 12-month price target of 67.75 per share.
Turk Hava Yollari (THYAO) AO, Turkey’s national airline, climbed 2.4 percent to 2.60 liras, after reporting passenger numbers in the first two months of the year increased 19 percent from a year earlier. The company said it may complete talks on a possible stake purchase in Poland’s Polskie Linie Lotnicze LOT SA within a month.
