Ukraine’s grain company Khlib Investbud is shipping 100,000 metric tons of milling wheat in its first shipment to Syria, following an intergovernment agreement signed last year.
Ukraine agreed to supply 300,000 tons of the wheat to Syria via Syrian state-owned grain trader Hoboob, Khlib Investbud, based in Kiev, said today in a statement on its website. Khlib Investbud did not provide more details.
