Siemens Wins 50-Megawatt Onshore Wind Turbine Order in Turkey

Siemens AG (SIE), Europe’s biggest engineering company, won an order to supply a 50-megawatt wind farm in southwestern Turkey with turbines.
Olgu Enerji Uretim AS ordered 22 of Siemens’ 2.3-megawatt machines for the Dinar project outside Afyon, the Munich-based company said today in a website statement. Installation will start this fall, Siemens said. No terms were disclosed.
