The following companies had unusual price changes in Peru trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses and share prices are as of 4:10 p.m. Lima time.
The Lima General Index (IGBVL) rose 0.6 percent to 23,145.52. The MSCI (MXPECAPD) All Peru Capped Index climbed 0.9 percent to 2,921.64.
Austral Group SA (AUSTRAC1 PE), a unit of Austevoll Seafood ASA, rose 3.7 percent to 28 centimos, in line with gains for U.S. and European stocks, said Estefany Castillo, an analyst at Scotiabank Peru.
Refineria la Pampilla SA (RELAPAC1 PE), a unit of Repsol YPF SA, climbed 2 percent to 1.03 soles after crude gained in New York.
Panoro Minerals Ltd. (PML) , a Canadian copper and gold exploration company, rose for the fourth session in five, adding 1.3 percent to 81 cents after copper rebounded in New York.
Sociedad Minera El Brocal SAA (SMBC) (BROCALC1 PE), a zinc and copper producer, advanced 1.6 percent to 50 soles after zinc futures advanced in London.
