JPMorgan Seeks to Grow in German Private Banking, Boersen Says

JPMorgan Chase & Co. (JPM) wants to win private banking clients in Germany and will also consider acquiring competitors to expand its position, Boersen-Zeitung reported, citing Hakan Strangh, head of Private Bank Germany and Austria.

The U.S. bank could start a network of branches in the country in the “longer term,” the German newspaper said, citing an interview with Strangh.
