Croatia will invest 1 billion kuna ($173 million) to renovate public buildings over the next few years to stimulate construction industry and save energy costs, national news agency HINA reported, citing Ivan Vrdoljak, the minister of construction and physical planning.
The government is in talks with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and HBOR, the national reconstruction bank, to finance the project, according to HINA.
