Chevron Began Drilling First Chinese Shale Well This Year

Chevron Corp. (CVX) began drilling its first Chinese shale well this year.
The company is exploring 940,000 acres of shale in China with China Petroleum & Chemical Corp. (600028), known as Sinopec, according to presentation slides posted online today.
