The average price for cocoa exports from Cameroon, Africa’s fourth-biggest producer of the main chocolate ingredient, fell by 0.7 percent 1,072 CFA francs a kilogram (2.2 pounds) in the week to March 12.
The West African country has exported 149,792 metric tons of the crop since the season started in August, according to a mobile-phone text message from the Cocoa and Coffee Board today. The following is a table of free-on-board export rates at the port of Douala in CFA francs per kilogram.
