Zachodni to Ask Regulator for Merger Approval in Next 3 Months

Bank Zachodni WBK SA (BZW), a Polish unit of Banco Santander SA (SAN) which is merging with Kredyt Bank SA (KRB), expects to ask the country’s regulator approval of the merger as soon as in three months, Chief Executive Officer Mateusz Morawiecki said in an interview with Radio PiN today.

Zachodni doesn’t expect any “serious” job cuts after the merger, Morawiecki added.
