The benchmark FTSE 100 Index gained less than 0.1 percent to 5,861.42 at 8:31 a.m. in London. GlaxoSmithKline Plc (GSK) and Tesco Plc (TSCO) led advancing shares, while SABMiller Plc (SAB), BP Plc (BP/) and Xstrata Plc (XTA) were among declining shares.
