FHFA Sets Executive Pay Reductions for Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac

Top pay for executives at Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac will be reduced by as much as 75 percent from 2008 levels under a new executive compensation program announced today by the Federal Housing Finance Agency.

The 2012 pay program establishes a target for new chief executive officer pay of $500,000, FHFA said in a statement today.
