Eli Lilly, Anadarko to Join S&P 100 as Alcoa, Xerox Leave Index

Eli Lilly & Co. (LLY) and Anadarko Petroleum Corp. (APC) are among six companies being added to the Standard & Poor’s 100 Index as of the close of trading on March 16, S&P said in a statement today.

EBay Inc. (EBAY) Simon Property Group Inc. (SPG), Accenture Plc (ACN) and Starbucks Corp. (SBUX) are also joining the S&P 100, the statement said. The six companies will replace Entergy Corp. (ETR), Xerox Corp. (XRX), Weyerhaeuser Co. (WY), Alcoa Inc. (AA), Avon Products Inc. (AVP) and Sprint Nextel Corp. (S) in the gauge, according to S&P.
