Ecuador Posts January Trade Surplus of $83 Million, Bank Says

Ecuador had a trade surplus of $83 million in January, compared with a deficit of $126 million in December, the South American country’s central bank said.

Exports in January totaled $2.09 billion, while imports reached $2.01 billion, the bank said in a report on its website today.
