Societe Generale SA (GLE), France’s second-largest bank, said it faces a disciplinary procedure on its private-banking controls from the French banking regulator Autorite de Controle Prudentiel.
The French banking regulator started the procedure in September, Societe Generale said in its annual report, available on its website.
L’Agefi reported the information earlier today.
