Reding Says National Bodies Must Tackle Google Privacy Concerns

National data privacy agencies and not the European Union must work to find a solution over concerns that Google Inc. (GOOG)’s privacy-policy changes don’t meet European data-protection standards, said EU Justice Commissioner Viviane Reding. She was speaking to journalists in Brussels today.
