Qatar Telecom 2011 Sales Increase 16% to $8.7 Billion, Plans Rights Offer

Qatar Telecom QSC, the Persian Gulf country’s biggest company by revenue, said full-year sales increased 16 percent to 31.8 billion riyals ($8.7 billion).

The board recommended a cash dividend of 30 percent of the nominal share value and bonus shares of 30 percent of the share capital, the company said in a statement today. It also approved a 40 percent rights issue at a price of 75 riyals per share.
