Irish Central Bank Governor Patrick Honohan said that small and medium-sized enterprises in Ireland face the toughest situation in obtaining credit in the euro area.
“Credit conditions for SMEs are tougher in Ireland than anywhere else in the euro area in terms of cost and availability,” according to the text of a speech given by Honohan at an event in Dublin today.
