Copper May Gain a Second Week on Economy Optimism: LME Preview

Copper, little changed in London trading, may gain for a second week after U.S. jobless claims matched a four-year low and European leaders accelerated payments to a bailout fund.

-- Copper rose 0.1 percent to $8,635 a metric ton by 7:13 a.m.
on the London Metal Exchange. Relative Strength Index 59.9.
-- Aluminum gained 0.2 percent to $2,358 a ton. RSI 66.9.
-- Zinc rose 0.5 percent to $2,116 a ton. RSI 57.3.
-- Lead added 0.8 percent to $2,180 a ton. RSI 53.
