Delta Air Lines Names Jacobson to Succeed Finance Chief Halter

Delta Air Lines Inc. (DAL) named Paul Jacobson to succeed Chief Financial Officer Hank Halter, who is retiring.

Jacobson, 40, joined the Atlanta-based carrier as an analyst in 1997 and rose to the post of senior vice president and treasurer, President Ed Bastian said in a statement. Jacobson’s new appointment is effective today.

Halter worked for Delta for more than 13 years and accomplished “several key milestones,” Bastian said.
