SPDR Gold Trust Holdings Unchanged at 1,285 Metric Tons

Gold holdings in the SPDR Gold Trust, the biggest exchange-traded fund backed by bullion, were unchanged at 1,284.61 metric tons as of Feb. 28, according to figures on the company’s website.

Gold futures for April delivery rose $12.10, or 0.7 percent, to $1,787.00 an ounce on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile Exchange.
