SOUTH AFRICAN DAYBOOK: Credit Growth, Trade Deficit, Nedbank

South African credit growth probably accelerated to 7.1 percent in January from 6.2 percent a month earlier, according to the median estimate of 11 economists surveyed by Bloomberg.

The broad M3 measure of money supply increased an annual 8.6 percent last month compared with 8.2 percent in December, according to the median of 10 estimates.

The central bank releases the data at 8am.
