Kenya Asks Central Bank to Curb Shilling’s Gain, Reuters Says

Kenya’s government has asked the nation’s central bank to prevent the shilling from further appreciating because it’s reducing revenue for exporters, Reuters reported.

The shilling shouldn’t be allowed to gain beyond 82 per dollar, Reuters reported, citing acting Finance Minister Njeru Githae.
