Greece Gets Vote on Austerity Implementation

Greek Prime Minister Lucas Papademos secured approval of a bill on implementing austerity measures to secure a second bailout package from the European Union and International Monetary Fund in Athens today.

A total of 202 lawmakers voted in favor and 80 against, Acting Parliament Speaker Grigoris Niotis said in remarks carried live on state-run Vouli TV.
