Greek Minister Papoutsis Resigns to Run for Leadership of Pasok

Feb. 27 (Bloomberg) -- Greek Citizen Protection Minister Christos Papoutsis submitted his resignation to Prime Minister Lucas Papademos, according to an e-mailed statement today from the Athens-based ministry.

Papoutsis resigned as a member of Papademos’s interim government to be able to stand for the leadership of the socialist Pasok party, according to the statement.
