Feb. 25 (Bloomberg) -- U.S. Treasury Secretary Timothy F. Geithner said that Europe must do more to make its commitments to stem the euro-area debt crisis “credible.”
While European leaders have made progress in arresting “catastrophic failure,” Geithner said in Mexico City today that he hopes to see more progress in Europe on a stronger, more credible firewall.
Geithner made his comments in a speech during a meeting of Group of 20 finance ministers and central bank governors.
