Feb. 24 (Bloomberg) -- Belgian Prime Minister Elio Di Rupo said Belgium and France have amended an agreement about temporary guarantees on Dexia SA’s borrowings, Belga reported.
Di Rupo, who spoke to reporters in Paris after a meeting with French President Nicolas Sarkozy, declined to give details about the amended agreement and also said he opposes a so-called golden handshake for Dexia Chief Executive Officer Pierre Mariani when he quits his post, according to the newswire.
