Massmart Falls Most in Almost Two Weeks Amid Margin Pressure

Feb. 22 (Bloomberg) -- Massmart Holdings Ltd., the South African retailer controlled by Wal-Mart Stores Inc., fell the most in almost two weeks after saying its operating margin is under pressure because of the cost of expansion.

The stock declined as much as 1.9 percent, the biggest intraday drop since Feb. 10, to 179 rand, and was trading at 179.50 rand as of 9:27 a.m. in Johannesburg.
