Hartford Hires AIG’s Tucker as Commercial Underwriting Chief

Feb. 22 (Bloomberg) -- Hartford Financial Services Group Inc., the insurer facing pressure from investor John Paulson to split the company, hired Tom Tucker as chief underwriting officer of commercial markets.

Tucker, 56, was previously head of underwriting for American International Group Inc.’s Chartis business in the U.S., according to a Business Wire statement today from Hartford, which is based in the Connecticut city of the same name.
