Angola Sells $350 Million of Foreign Currency in Week to Feb. 17

Feb. 22 (Bloomberg) -- Angola’s central bank sold $350 million at foreign-currency auctions in the week to Feb. 17, Banco Nacional de Angola said.
The kwanza sold at an average rate of 95.538 per dollar, little changed from 95.537 a week earlier, the Luanda-based central bank said an e-mailed statement today.
The bank’s overnight Luanda interbank offered rate, or Luibor, increased to 6.48 percent from 6.41 percent previously, it said.
