Russian Banks’ Capital Ratio Slides to 14.7%, Interfax Reports

Feb. 21 (Bloomberg) -- Russian lenders’ average capital adequacy ratio slid to 14.7 percent according to the latest available data, Interfax reported, citing central bank Deputy Chairman Mikhail Sukhov.
The regulator sees “nothing tragic happening now or in the future” with capital levels in the banking industry, Sukhov was cited as saying by the news service.
