Feb. 21 (Bloomberg) -- Citigroup Inc. named Tony Osmond as head of global banking for Australia and New Zealand, replacing Chris Knoblanche.

Osmond, who joined Citigroup in 2010 from Goldman Sachs JBWere Pty, will remain head of investment banking for the region, a Sydney-based spokeswoman said by phone. Knoblanche will keep an office at Citigroup as a client adviser, the spokeswoman said.

The change was reported earlier today by the Australian Financial Review.
