Feb. 20 (Bloomberg) -- Saudi Arabian Oil Co. sees potential to use wind and geothermal energy in the western parts of the Kingdom to produce electricity, a company’s official said.
There is “technical” potential to produce 25,000 megawatts of electricity from wind, Faisal Habiballah, head of solar team at the company, known as Saudi Aramco, told delegates today at a renewable energy conference in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.
