Chinese Stocks Favored Most in Asia by Standard Chartered

February 20, 2012

Feb. 21 (Bloomberg) -- Chinese stocks are the most attractive equities in Asia because of “compelling’ valuations and the prospect of more policy easing measures, according to Manpreet Gill, senior investment strategist at Standard Chartered Bank.

‘‘A lot of bad news has been priced in the last couple of years with policy tightening and real estate measures,’’ Gill said on Bloomberg Television. ‘On the margin, policy will ease slightly and that will provide an additional boost to Chinese equity markets.’’
