Lafarge Posts Unexpected Fourth-Quarter Net Loss of EU3 Million

Feb. 17 (Bloomberg) -- Lagarge SA posted a net loss in the fourth quarter of 3 million euros. Analysts had expected a profit of 258 million euros in the period.

The French construction materials company’s loss compares with a profit in the year-earlier period of 62 million euros.

Lafarge said it expects higher pricing in 2012.
