Feb. 17 (Bloomberg) -- French Prime Minister Francois Fillon said it’s “irresponsible” to toy with a possible default by Greece.
“We must do absolutely everything to avoid a Greek default,” Fillon said today on RTL radio. “Greece has pledged significant efforts.”
“Now Europe must keep its promises,” he said. “Bankers have agreed to give up 70% of their loans.”
“To toy with Greek default is irresponsible,” he added.
