Kernel Holding, Oltchim, TVN: Central Europe Equity Preview

Feb. 15 (Bloomberg) -- The following is a list of companies whose shares may undergo unusual price changes in central European markets. Stock symbols are in parentheses after company names. Share prices are from the last close.

Poland’s WIG20 Index fell 0.6 percent, the Czech PX Index lost 0.6 percent and Hungary’s BUX Index retreated 0.8 percent.

Kernel Holding SA (KER PW): The net income of the biggest Ukrainian company traded in Warsaw jumped 25 percent in the October-December period to $65.2 million from a year earlier, the Kiev-based agriculture producer said in a regulatory statement late yesterday. Kernel declined 0.8 percent to 73 zloty.

Oltchim SA (OLT RO): Romania’s state-owned chemical company’s 2011 net loss widened to 270 million lei ($81 million) from 223 million lei a year earlier, according to a statement sent to the Bucharest Stock Exchange today. Oltchim fell 2 percent to 1.16 lei.

TVN SA (TVN PW): Fourth-quarter net income of Poland’s biggest television network fell to 12.4 million zloty ($3.9 million), missing the 37.8 million-zloty mean estimate of four analysts surveyed by Bloomberg. The shares lost 1.4 percent to 11.8 zloty.
