Feb. 15 (Bloomberg) -- France’s diesel demand advanced 2.8 percent in January compared with a year earlier, according to an industry group.
Gasoline consumption in France dropped 4.6 percent over the same period, the Union Francaise des Industries Petrolieres, known as UFIP, said today in an e-mailed statement. Diesel accounted for 81.4 percent of the country’s fuel consumption last month, the group said.
