Euro Region Considering Bridging Loan for Greece, Welt Says

Feb. 15 (Bloomberg) -- Some euro region member states are proposing to offer Greece a bridging loan to ensure that the country can repay 14.5 billion euros woth of bonds in March, the German newspaper Die Welt reported, citing two independent people it didn’t identify.

The proponents of the bridging loan want to await the outcome of the parliamentary election in Greece before possibly approving a second rescue package for Greece, the newspaper said.
