Greece Must Complete Prior Actions for Aid Approval, PM Says

February 14, 2012

Feb. 14 (Bloomberg) -- Greece must work “systematically” to complete prior actions needed to qualify for a second international bailout from the European Union and International Monetary Fund, Prime Minister Lucas Papademos said.

“Without these prior actions the next specific steps for the approval of the program from the International Monetary Fund and the eurozone countries can’t be carried out,” Papademos said at a Cabinet meeting in Athens today, according to an e- mailed transcript of his speech from his office.

Papademos said Makis Voridis will keep his post as Infrastructure and Transport minister.
