Goldman Lowers Estimate of 2012 Aluminum Surplus to 486,000 Tons

Feb. 14 (Bloomberg) -- Goldman Sachs Group Inc. lowered its estimate of this year’s aluminum surplus to 486,000 metric tons from 775,000 tons.

The price estiamte is unchanged, Max Layton, an analyst at Goldman, said in a report dated today.
